Thursdays,10 weeks, April 11 - June 13, 6 - 9 p.m. (SG1305)

$280 members/$300 non-members    Maximum: 6 students

Learn the steps and techniques to create custom counter tops, kitchen or bathroom back splashes, stone pavers or just create a piece of art!  Learn about the basic mosaic tools and aspects of grouting from preparing grout to floating it over glass.  We’ll discuss ways to transfer ideas from paper to board. You’ll use a cement backer board to create a mosaic design (minimum size 12” x 32”) of your choice.  This allows for form repetition in the design and the ability to properly learn to float grout.  You will be encouraged to maintain a sketchbook/journal during the class and will come away with a basic knowledge of “how to” plan mosaic projects for the home interior from start to finish.
