Volunteers from all walks of life are invited to become members of the Glass Art Center Volunteer Corps

If you like glass, or art in general, or simply like working with friendly people, you can help the West Michigan Glass Art Center serve your community.  We value volunteers with skills as organizers, phone callers, greeters, mailers, and/or as leaders, as well as those with glass art expertise.  The Glass Art Center Volunteer Corps is designed to be Volunteer-Led, Volunteer-Managed, and Volunteer-Friendly.

All Glass Art Center Volunteer Corps members will receive a handbook outlining opportunities, responsibilities, and Glass Art Center policies and safety regulations.  Jesse Baker is serving as Volunteer Liaison to insure smooth communication between the Volunteer Corps Steering Committee and the organization.  (Handbook available October 2011).

If you are interested in being part of the Volunteer Corps, it’s as easy as this:

•          Click on the link and print your application, and then mail it in or drop it off at the West Michigan Glass Art Center at 326 W. Kalamazoo Avenue, #100, Kalamazoo MI 49007

•          Send an email to volunteer@wmglass.org and ask for the sign-up sheet

•          Stop by the Glass Art Center during an Art Hop or other event and fill out the sign-up form on the spot!  Also if you have any questions, please call us at 269-552-9803.

A member of the Volunteer Corps will contact you and help you get started.
